Sans le savoir,j'ai débuté cette toile le jour même ou l'acteur Christopher Reeve, bien connu pour son rôle de 'Superman', entrait en arrêt cardiaque et dans un profond coma le samedi 9 octobre 2004. Je n'avais absolument aucune idée de ce fait lorsque j'ai réalisé cette toile. Les idées de cette créations me venaient à mesure de l'exécution, au stade " méditatif" de la création. Je ne sais vraiment pas pourquoi j'ai peint ce petit Superman.
Y a t-il une relation à faire avec ce qui c'est passé le jour même pour l'acteur? Je ne sais pas et personne ne le saura jamais. C'est peut-être une coincidence mais un fait demeure ;j'ai réellement créé cette toile un jour avant sa mort...J'ai bien sûr nommée la toile en l'honneur de Christopher Reeves mais surtout elle est dédiée à tous ces héros qui se battent de toute leur force pour donner quelque chose de meilleur à l'humanité.

I started this painting at the day 'Superman' star Christopher Reeve went into cardiac arrest and coma on Saturday, October 9, 2004, before any one knew about it. I don't know why or how it come to me, but I painted Superman look like a kid with no hair playing with puppets as if he try to make some thing move. I didn't planed to do it but it came during the process of creating wile I was in my meditative state of creation.
Is it really connecting with Christopher Reeve ? I don't know and no one will ever know, may be its just coincidence may be its not, but that's the fact I made this art work at the day he fall into coma. he die the next day.
I named it after superman actor Christopher Reeve to honor him and all the superman dreamers. To all the people that help and fight with all their power for give something good to all humankind.
