Pleine lune
Full moon

18" x 14" Acrylique 1999

The "pleine Lune" is about the women that doesn't have the right to speak,
they are quiet as the full moon night, like the women in Afghanistan that
didn't had any rights even not showing their faces.

I made the body of the woman in "full moon" clear in one part and confound with the background, as she is without substance, she is like the air, and her hands are behind her back, chained.

I made the face covered in tissue in fact it's two faces, one is looking to
the front and another to the side, as those women that will never fined the
way to get out from their oppression.
